Tic-Tac-Go – Unlimited Puzzle Game
Tic-Tac-Go is a daily push-puzzle game where you control a little round hero on a grid: shove the X and O pieces around until three O's line up in a row – and remember, you count as an O yourself. But if three X's line up first, it's game over. With a hand-crafted new puzzle every day, unlimited undo and best-score tracking, it hits the sweet spot between quick fun and real brain-bending strategy.
How to play Tic-Tac-Go?
1Starting the game
Open tictacgo.org and today's puzzle loads instantly – no download, no signup. You'll see a grid of tiles with X and O pieces scattered around, and your round player piece (the one with the little eyes). The counter at the top tracks your moves and time.
2Move & push the pieces
Move with the arrow keys or WASD on desktop, or swipe anywhere on your phone. Walk into an X or O to push it one tile – you can only push one piece at a time, and nothing passes through walls or other pieces. Plan ahead: a piece shoved into a corner may be stuck for good.
3Line up three O's
Win by getting three O's in a row or column – and since you count as an O, you can finish the line by stepping into it yourself. But be careful: if three X's ever line up, you lose instantly. Made a mistake? Undo is free and unlimited (Z key or the rewind button), and R resets the puzzle.
A New Puzzle Every Day
A fresh, hand-crafted puzzle unlocks every single day, so there's always a new challenge waiting. Early puzzles teach you the basics, while later boards add walls, tight corridors and tricky X formations that take real planning to crack. Your progress and best scores (fewest moves and fastest time) are saved automatically in your browser, and you can replay any puzzle from the Select Puzzle menu whenever you like.
Tips & Strategy
Think before you push
A piece shoved against a wall may be stuck there for good. Scan the whole board before your first move.
Clear escape routes first
Sometimes you must move X pieces out of the way before you can start building your O line.
Remember: you are an O
The fastest wins often end with you stepping into the line yourself. Count yourself in every plan.
Undo is free – use it
Z undoes a move, holding the rewind button goes faster, and R resets the puzzle. Experiment boldly!
